Since 1996 EcoSpark has run excellent programming—some of which are not currently running. This section of our website showcases these past projects, which we hope you will see operational in the near future.

Our Green Schools Film Project
Our Green Schools was a partner project with the TDSB that ran in the 2010-2011 school year. EcoSpark coached five student teams in making top-quality environmental documentaries. These films are available on our website, in DVD format, and were premiered at the Revue Cinema in June 2011.

This program, which worked with both community members and students, ran from 2001-2007. Citizens and youth in schools used lichen as biological indices of air quality.

From 2007-2009, EcoSpark supported a network of volunteers to monitor the health and safety of Toronto's beaches. Volunteers tracked Toronto beaches' compliance with the international Blue Flag program.
